Association of children scouts, junior and senior climbers and scouts, and adults (elderly climbers) is an excellent place for gathering and activity of children and youth. In scout squads children and youth are prepared for real life. Scout schools were attended by many well-known and respected people who now occupy important positions in the social, economic and cultural life. Scout school of life and scout system of education leave a lasting, positive mark on the young person which follows it entire life.

An attractive program tailored to needs of children and youth

Scout program is subordinated to the individual needs of young people, the needs of collective and makes basis for the prosperity of the organization. In scouting organization there are no such positive activities which couldn’t be performed in a scouting uniform.

Within the program groups (clusters, platoons) are involved in art, ecology, defence, rescue, medical care, tourism, orientation, rowing...

There are teams that are specialized for specific activities, but most of the scout squads engage in various activities. Great strength of scout movement is provided by such diversity. We never forget about patriotism and the global christian and spiritual values. Being a scout is a real adventure.

Member Security

Scouting Association of Belgrade takes care of the security of its members by taking numerous actions, such as leadership training, training of guides and instructors for working with children and youth. At the organization level there are standards for training that are needed to be known by everyone who performs educational functions in the organization, also everyone needs to know the basic state regulations for safety.

Guides, leaders and instructors are required to obtain approval in order to be given the position of the head of the camp, the leader of the river crew, etc.

Scout life

Scout Association of Belgrade is an association that is working in the city of Belgrade as the capital of Serbia and a separate territorial unit.

Scouting associations of municipalities constitute in the municipalities where two or more squads of scouts exist.

Scout Association of Belgrades Assembly – is the supreme body of Belgrade scouts composed of two representatives of the scout group, members of the association.
Regular sessions of the Assembly are held every year. Non-regular if needed.
Electoral Assembly of the Association are held every four years.
Assembly as the highest authority body by democratic principles elects::

• Seniority of the Scout Association of Belgrade
• Supervisory Board of the Scout Association of Belgrade

Head of the Scout Association of Belgrade - represents Scout Association of Belgrade. Head of the Scout Association of Belgrade chairs the meetings of the Assembly and Seniority.

Seniority of the Scout Association of Belgrade - With an Association between two sessions of Assembly operationaly manages Seniority of the Scout Association of Belgrade, which has between 11 and 17 members elected on the Assembly.

Seniority appoints, by scheduled competition, leadership of the Scout Association of Belgrade. Seniority appoints the secretary of the Association.

The Supervisory Board of the Scout Association of Belgrade - Material and Financial Management of the Association is monitored and controled by the Supervisory Board of the Scout Association of Belgrade, which has 3 members.

Leadership of the Scout Association of Belgrade - is the body responsible for the application and realisation of the Scout Association of Belgrades program and plan. Leadership of the Scout Association of Belgrade consists of:

• Chief of the Association
• Chief of children scouts
• Chief of the young scouts
• Chief of scouts
• Chief of the elderly scouts.

Secretary of the Scout Association of Belgrade - is the only professional appointed person in the Association which performs professional operational and material financial affairs for the Association.

System of working

Scouting is a movement and a system of working with young people which is used in over 200 countries and regions all over the world.

Scouting in Serbia is an educational movement in which kids and youth form into healthy people through games. Scouting helps parents in the upbringing of their children and society in the education of youth, because they conduct a mission whose aim is that every scout forms into a common man and become a useful member of the society he belongs to.

These goals are not easy to achieve. It's not like scoring a goal, hitting a target and alike. They need much more time and effort.

Scout Association is not a RELIGIOUS ASSOCIATION - but respects all religions. In scouting, members of all religions feel equally good. Everyone who wants has the opportunity to perform rituals of their religion durning activities.

Scout Association is not a POLITICAL ASSOCIATION - but respects the political belief of its members. Association does not choose sides. Scouting has a goal that is beyond any political organization.

Scout Association does not PREPARE YOUTH FOR THE ARMY - but scouts are educated to be useful to the community, to love their country, come to know nature and its laws, orientation, topography, first aid and other methods that can help people and be of general benefit.

Scout Association is not a CLIMBING SOCIETY - but usess every opportunity for young to go to picnic, camp or bivouac in nature. By having an organized stay scouts learn from nature as the largest and unmistakeable textbook.

Scout Association is not a SPORTS CLUB - but members engage in different sports, especially river scouts that go to activities by boat, kayak ... Scouts do not do sports in order to achieve top results, but as function of games and leisure spending.
